Application Feedback

HackerWatch identifies many new application fingerprints every day.  Your feedback is helpful in correctly identifying new applications.

If you are certain of the origin of the program you are invited to offer details that will be helpful to our staff in obtaining a verification copy of the program so that we may place the fingerprint into our database.

If you do not have an up to date anti-virus program installed on your computer we ask that you do not provide feedback to us.  We cannot be certain of the authenticity of a signature if you are not protected from virus infection.

This is not a place to ask questions.  These comments are read by HackerWatch technicians, not McAfee Personal Firewall support staff.

Be sure to include in your comments:

  • The version of Firewall you are using

  • The name & version of the program

  • Where you obtained the program

  • What the program does

  • What version of Windows you are using

  • Why the program needs Internet access (if known)
